The Guardian Clan consist of two sides, each one representing an aspect of the Force : The Jedis, The Siths.
Each side has got several ranks but they are at the same level.

The Guardian Clan is leaded by a High Council consisting of 2 - 5 members.
And also, 12 Guardian Masters that are in charge of their respective order.

Council Admin :

High Councillors

[HC] | [HC] | [HC]

The title of High Councillor is the highest title one can achieve in the clan. They oversee clan activity´s, vote on clan rules, they also vote on who gets promoted to the rank of (Master), and they rule on other various clan activities that are not covered in the lower ranks of the clan.
Councillors are the rulers of the clan, all councillors have equal say in the clan, one vote per Councillor. All rulings by the High Council must have a majority vote before it can be put into effect. The High Council decides on all rulings brought to its attention by the Masters of the clan. Anyone in the clan can ask a high council member for assistance, if they cannot get an answer from anyone else in the clan.

The High Council can have either Jedis, Fallen Jedis or Siths in its ranks, but it does require at least one of each in the council. To achieve the title of High Councillor a Guardian Master must be voted in by the High Council with a majority vote after having proven their loyalty to the clan and to its success.

The High Councillors have all reached the ranks of Jedi Master, Sith Lord or Fallen Master, so they are skilled and have a great knowledge of their force side. As they are in therory the Highest Ranked members of the Clan, they have to be showned a great respect.

The Leader of the Sith Order is known under the title of Dark Lord of the Siths and is part of the High Council.

Guardian Masters

[SL] | [JM] | [FM]

(Masters) are the Honorable and Noble warriors of the clan. The Masters are the ones that approve of any new Learners that may join the clan. (Of course any new member must still recieve a majority vote from the High Council) Masters must test each new member to see if they have what it takes to be a Guardian. Masters conduct all minor clan issues that do not require a High Council vote. Any Master can call a vote at any time in cases that call for the discipline of another clan member for rule violations. Any vote for the dismissal of another clan member requires a successful vote, which would then be sent to the High Council for a vote. Masters are the representatives of the clan, it is the master that sets up tournaments and deals with other clans diplomatically. It is the masters responsibility to bring clan issues that other clan members may have to the attention of the High Council ( if it cannot be resolved by the Masters).

There are three kinds of Masters :

The Sith Lords, are the masters of the dark side of the force they are in command of the Apprentices, Siths and Sith Warriors in the clan under the Dark Lord guidance.

The Jedi Masters, are masters of the light side of the force and command all the Padawans, Jedis and Jedi Knights in the clan under the Jedi Council guidance.

The fallen Masters, use mainly the light side force and command all the Fallen Ones and Fallen Knights in the clan.

There are 12 Guardian Master spots in the clan. Any Master that receives a complaint about another clan member from other clans, must first make contact with that clan member to get their side of the story before taking any action. It is the Masters job to make sure that the clan does not look bad, and to enforce the rules of the clan.

Knight Admin :

Sith Warriors

[SW]

The Sith Warriors of the clan have mastered most of the techniques of the dark side, and have become formidable opponents. The dark side flows through their veins and gives them great power. The Sith Warriors of the clan must respect their Sith Lords but look for their weaknesses at the same time. They will also be given more responsibility and will continue to train hard not only in the ways of saber combat and force use but also in improving the clan in other ways. They will be given authority over the Siths of the clan and it is their responsibility to take on an apprentice from among them. Their apprentice will learn from them the dark arts of manipulation.

The title of Sith Lords is the hardest rank to obtain. To become a Sith Lords is a great honor so it must come at a high price. For a Sith Warriors to advance to Sith Lord, he will be required to convert ONE JEDI to the Dark Side (RP part) (he may use any means that are within the Sith Code to accomplish this).
Once he has accomplished this he will have to face a SITH LORD in a force duelling match. This match will be a best out of 5. If he defeats the Lord here, he will then move on to a best out of 9 regular duelling match.
If he fails to do any of the above he will be punished by his master and will have to wait 4 weeks before challenging again (if he succeeded in turning a Jedi he will not have to turn another). But if he defeats the Lord he will then be given the title of Sith Lords and the Lord will become a Sith Warrior. The Sith Warrior has 24 hours to challenge any other Sith Lords for their title but if he fails he will have to wait 4 weeks before attempting to regain his former glory. (These challenges must be witnessed by a High Councillor).

Important notes on the ranking of the Siths :

As you will read on this page a Sith can challenge a other member of the Sith Order to get to the next rank. But some points have to be cleared.
A sith will have to stay at least one month in each rank before beeing able to advance to the next rank. Even if not facing his Master, a Sith has to get the approval of his master and of course the approval of the Dark Lord before beeing able to challenge.
If the Dark Lord think that the Sith is not ready or have not proove enough that he fullfill all the requirements of his current rank, the Challenge can be delayed for a other month.
The Challenge (Duels) is the visible part of the test. The Dark Lord can decide to add some more tests (RP or Skills), a question part will be added before the Sith is given his new rank and done by the High Council.
If a Sith is not active on both server and Forum, he can be refused his challenge.
If the Sith fail 2 times at the same rank, the Dark Lord can and will then decide the form of the test the sith may take after the 4 weeks have passed.

The Sith probably will rank up faster than the other order members but ONLY if he is active and show : Honor, Knowledge of the Siths and of his current rank duties, Skills, Dedication to the order and to the clan.

Jedi Knights

[JK]

Jedi Knights are the Light side fighters of the clan. They are warriors dedicated to the clan, and to its ideals. The Jedi Order is a life full of duty and loyalty to the clan. To advance in the Jedi Order to the rank of Jedi Master one must prove himself to be not only a good fighter but also must show his loyalty to the clan and to its success. Unlike the Sith Order, the Jedi Order is not about the accumulation of power but the gaining of skill and knowledge.

There are three ways that a Jedi Knight can achieve the rank of Jedi Master. The first is if a Jedi Master should leave the clan, at which point the High Council would vote on the replacement from the four best Jedi Knights in the clan. The second is if a Jedi Master should loose his possition (as Jedi Master). In this case the four best Jedi Knights in the clan which have proven their loyalty would then conduct a duel tournament, the winner of the tournament would then be promoted to the rank of Jedi Master. The third and final way to attain the rank of Jedi Master, is if a Jedi Master should give up his title at which point he gets to choose his replacement (Which would need to be authorized by the High Council). As you can see the title of Jedi Master doesn´t change as often as the Sith Masters do.

Honor Members

[HM]

The Honor Membership is given to the Greatest Guardians wich road have split from the Guardians road. They are given this position dur to the dedication and Honor they have shown during their time as active Guardians. They are still Guardians in our heart and can still wear our clan tag, Once a Guardian Always a Guardian. As Honor Guardians they are given the same respect as all the other Guardians and their name will remain in our Hall of Fame. Even if they dont appear as such in the member list, they are considered inactives unless new instructions are given.

We all know that one day our roads will cross again and that day we will be happy to see them becoming full members of our great Clan.
May the force protect them and guide them, and we know that they will all succeed in the new aims they have been given by their Real Life.

Instructor Admin :

Siths

[S]

A Sith is a student of the dark side of the force. They must respect their master, and learn as much as they can to be the most powerful Sith that they can be. They have little need for patience, and diplomacy, until they reach the level of Sith Master. Instead they focus on achieving self advancement within the clan, and gaining respect through the use of force and manipulation.
Upon reaching the status of Sith , the Guardian may take on an apprentice. The Apprentice must be trained in the ways of the dark side and how to effectively wield a lightsaber. He or she will teach this Apprentice until he is ready to advance. While being mentors of young Sith, Siths will also continue their own training. They will focus on learning manipulation skills and ways of undermining those that seek to destroy the Sith. Their master will be either a Sith Warrior or a Sith Lord and through him or her, learn these most valuable weapons. Sith also seek to improve in their lightsaber techniques and in the use of the Force.

In order for a Sith to advance, they must prove themselves available to the Sith Order and to the clan by being active on both forum and server. If they fulfill this requirement they will commence with their challenge to advance.
A Sith’s skill of manipulation will be tested as he will be given a mission by his master (an RPG, and kept going for as long as the master wishes). His master must also be present to witness this.
Once he has accomplished this, he will have to face any of the available SITH WARRIORS in a dueling match. The Warrior can decide on the form of this match but it will be best out of 7. If the Sith defeats the Sith Warrior he claims the title of Sith Warrior. However, if he fails any of the tasks above he will be punished by his master and will have to wait 4 weeks before being able to challenge again. (This challenge must be witnessed by either a Sith Lord, or a Sith Councillor).

Jedis

[J]

The Jedi uses the light side of the force. When a Padawan has completed the trials and is ready to advance, they are given the opportunity to join the Jedi order. The Jedi Order will require patience, discipline, skill, diplomacy, and a never ending search for knowledge. The Jedi Order isn´t an easy path to follow and doesn´t advance as quickly as the Order of the Sith. Jedis are always helpful to the younger and less experienced members. They should take it upon themselves to ensure that the clan is strong from top to bottom, a Jedi doesn´t disregard the week in favor of the powerful.

When a Jedi feels that he is ready to advance to the level of Jedi Knight, he must submit a request to a Jedi Master for consideration. If the Master feels you are not ready they may say so, and tell the Jedi in question the reason for his/her decision. Remember patience is a test of a Jedi, being impatient can hinder a Jedis advancement in the clan. In the Jedi Order everything can and for the most part will be considered a test of ones growth within the clan. The Jedi Order is not easy, but a Jedi with the proper training and discipline can be a very powerful and knowledgeable ally that should be revered and honored by others in the clan.

No Admin powers :

Apprentices

[A]

Guardians who have just started down the path of the dark side and the Sith Order are known as Apprentices. All Apprentice will get a Master of S rank or above. The choice of the master will be done regarding the available times of the A and also the time zone where he live.
The Apprentices must show respect towards their master and learn what they can from him/her. As all Sith, Apprentices have the potential to be formidable opponents and strong in the ways of the dark side. Apprentices will train in all three saber types and will receive training in the use of dark force powers.
Apprentices must be ready to show their dedication to the Sith Order and to their masters by completing the missions assigned to them. These missions will not only require dedication but also knowledge of saber combat and of the dark side (There can be no less than 4 missions, but if the master feels more are required, then more will be assigned). Apprentices should also aim to use the Sith Code when ever possible so that they may grow stronger in the dark arts.

When the Apprentice feels he/she has learnt enough and is ready to advance he/she must announce it to his/her master and a member of the High Council. Once the Apprentice has taken this crucial step, his/her knowledge of the Sith Code and of the clan rules will be tested by a Sith Councillor and his/her trial for Sith rank will begin. For the promotion to Sith rank, the Apprentice has two options:

1) He/She will have to challenge A SITH RANKED and not his master for the position of Sith. It can be his master only if the master is a Sith ranked. It will be a best out of 5 dueling competition but the challenged Sith will decide whether it is force dueling, saber combat or a bit of both. If the Apprentice succeeds he has the right to punish his/her master, if he fails his/her master will decide of the punishment and he will be able to challenge again after 4 weeks. (This challenge must be witnessed by either a Sith Warrior, Sith Lord or Sith Councillor). If the Apprentice succeed in that part he will be asked several questions by the High Council to test also his knowledge of the Rules, Codes and Customs of the Clan.

or

2) Go through a trial set up by the High Council.

If they succeed in either challenge, they will be granted the title of Sith but if they fail in either challenge they will wait 4 weeks before being able to attempt again. The dark path is very challenging and therefore must not be taken lightly, train longer and fail less.

Padawans

[P]

Padawans are Guardians in training.
All Padawans must have a master, and that master can be any jedi member of the clan.
Padawans must stay in contact with their master as often as possible!
This is very important, because it will advance their training, and show their dedication to the clan.
It is the responsiblity of the Padawan to maintain contact with their master.
When the master feels that their Padawan is ready to be tested by a Guardian Master, it is then the Masters responsiblity to setup the trails as soon as possible ( 48hrs at the most).
Padawans are not guaranteed membership in the clan!

Participation is the most important factor, skill is the next factor, and last but not least is your attitude.
If a Padawan cannot get in contact with their master for any reason, they can contact any member in the clan for help. To avoid disrespecting your master you should attempt to contact a Guardian Master or a High Councillor, this is acceptable. Each member of the clan is different so get to know your master, I can´t stress this enough because except in special cases, only your master can recommend your promotion to Jedi.

Learners

[L]

Learners are Guardians that have been just recruited.
All Learners have to follow a course with the Learner Guides to learn our customs, rules and Codes.
When the Head Learner Guide think they are ready, they are tested and if they succeed they are given the possibility to choose a side. They can after be tested by the Order Leader(s) to see if they can be given a Master or if they need to finish their course as Sith/Jedi Learner.
Know that at Learner position, any recruit that break our rule can face the High Council for a votekick from the clan. It is the begining of their history as Guardians but it is not the easiest step.
Learners are not guaranteed membership in the clan!

Participation, patience, eagerness to learn, attitude and knownledge of the Guardian Clan are the most important things that a Learner have to master to be able to take the next step.
Good Luck!
